It is our belief that now, more than ever, sponsorship professionals need the proper tools and infrastructure to capture and manage critical information, to help optimize investments and improve decision-making, to automate time consuming tasks, and to institutionalize internal sponsorship processes and procedures across brands and business lines. Our goal remains to help empower corporate sponsors to find the best opportunities for their brand and business faster and easier, to empower sponsors to negotiate smarter, and to help companies manage and measure their sponsorship investments more consistently to better optimize the opportunity at hand.
Along these lines, we continue to invest in and build out our leading sponsorship management application, SponsorPort®, to ensure we can offer each of our clients exactly what they want and need most as it relates to the management of their sponsorship efforts. In addition to continually improving the breadth and depth of our sponsorship management software, Sponsor Direct remains focused on and committed to delivering superior service to our customers. We make sure this happens by taking the time to listen to each customer's specific needs and requirements and then configuring our SponsorPort application so that it delivers exactly what a client wants and how they need it.
We are excited to share with you an update on Sponsor Direct and how SponsorPort 2.0 is dramatically impacting how corporate sponsors and their agencies are managing sponsorship information. Following are a few exciting developments we are rolling out in 2006.
Proposal Valuations
We are now in the process of finalizing a new extension of our core product that will allow users of SponsorPort to receive sophisticated financial valuations of specific proposals and sponsorships. We view this as an important extension of our existing screening and evaluation capabilities. The output will be a detailed report comparing itemized asset value to proposal cost. We anticipate this will be of enormous value to our customers as they prepare to enter into serious negotiations with a potential opportunity or undertake more extensive ROI analysis of existing sponsorships.
Portfolio Management and Measurement Tools
In addition to our proposal management capabilities, SponsorPort offers companies the ability to manage their existing sponsorship inventory more effectively. Our infrastructure enables sponsors to centralize information and standardize procedures to ensure their sponsorship investments are coordinated and maximized. By entering sponsorship information into the SponsorPort application, it becomes easy to track leverage and activation activities, goals and objectives, rights and benefits, costs and values, and other critical inputs to measurement, ROI and ROO analysis. For example, key post-event information, research results, media analysis, and customer survey information. Moreover, audits can be completed in real time. It is our intention to significantly improve and enhance our customers' ability to get the most value from their sponsorships as efficiently as possible.
